Privacy Policy
Short version: this app runs on your machine and only talks to TCPA Litigator List's own API.
What this app does with your data
TCPA Lookup is a self-hosted tool. There is no cloud account, no external analytics, and no third-party tracking built into it. When you run it, it operates entirely on your own computer.
What gets sent to TCPA Litigator List
The only outbound network requests this app makes — other than to your own local MongoDB, if
configured — go to api.tcpalitigatorlist.com, using your own TCPA Litigator List
account credentials, to perform the phone number lookups and bulk scrubs you request.
- Phone numbers you search or upload are sent to TCPA's API to be checked.
- Your TCPA API credentials stay in your local
.envfile and are never transmitted anywhere except to TCPA's API for authentication. - Search history, if MongoDB is configured, is stored only in your own local database — never uploaded anywhere.
What we don't do
We don't run ads, we don't sell data (there's no "we" collecting it in the first place), and we
don't include any third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Local browser storage
(localStorage) is used only for small conveniences like remembering your theme
preference and recent searches — that data also never leaves your browser.
Account credentials and login
If this app has been configured with a login screen, session cookies are used only to keep you signed in to your own locally-hosted copy of the tool. They are not shared with, or readable by, any other site.
